In 2012, we started to notice that there were a number of companies who were charging huge amounts of money for authors to receive their services, something which has not changed, it only seems to have got worse.
We decided at that time that we could do what these companies were doing, but we could do it at a price that made the services accessible to many more authors. We do our best to keep costs low, but we do have to charge a fair price for what we do. No matter what, our prices and the services we offer are much better than these other companies.
We have also noticed that there are many ‘publishers’ out there who are charging fees for everything that a traditional publisher would do, and then taking a percentage of the royalties just as a traditional publisher would do, however, this is not how publishing works. If you have a publisher, they will take the risk on your book being a success and not charge you for the work they do, this payment comes from their percentage of your royalties.
We work differently, we provide all of the services a traditional publisher would provide, but the book is published by you. You pay us for the work we do, and you keep all royalties.

While we are not one of these companies that works in this way, in fact, we are not a large company at all (which is why we care about each person we deal with), we do believe in providing the service and support that you have come to expect from much larger companies. This is why we have recently changed our support system from email/Messenger to a full online support system, which means you can always keep track of all correspondence and find the information you need quickly.
